Cool Green for an Elegant Summer Wedding

I had the pleasure of doing the flowers & dressing the wedding of Aaron McCauley & Laura Baker on 24th July 2010.

The colour scheme was Green, Ivory & Silver & looked absolutely stunning. Bridesmaids wore Ivory Grecian style dresses complimented with Green Cymbidium Orchid bouquets and accented with pink crystal butterflies & pink pearl stems

On her return to the reception Laura wore a Wrist Corsage to match her bouquet on a pearl wristband

Decorations also carried the green theme with green gel, floralyte & Cymbidium Orchids. Oversized Martini Glasses & Fishbowls. Ballons were tied to jars of sweets which delighted the guests both Children & Adults!

Table Decorating Ideas

The main focus at the Wedding Breakfast is the Table. Many Brides struggle when doing a Venue visit what the room will look like decorated. Here are a few ideas & advice to help you decide. If the room has very tall ceiling then a tall arrangement will be perfect, if the budget doesn't stretch then balloons can be used to give height.

Always keep the tablecentres either above or below eye level so that guests can talk to each other across the table without feeling like David Bellamy peering through the undergrowth!

Vintage Dreams

Vintage style is making a massive comeback into the world of weddings. Glitzy Hollywood of the 20', 30's,40's & 50's are everywhere this season. Muted tones are showing in flowers, Dresses & also Venue Styling.

Oversized Martini & Cocktail glasses spilling with flowers or Ostrich Feathers Billowing from tall Lily Vases are the Order of the day it seems.
